Sold, a 17th century tourism estate, former royal manufacture, 844 m2 on 1.06 hectares. This 17th century residence, renovated in the 19th century, has a swimming pool and outbuildings. This former royal cloth factory dating from 1680 has been converted into a bed and breakfast, lodges and events venue with a renovated private home. This 17th century residence in a dominant position on the slopes of the Montagne Noire offers unobstructed views in an unspoilt setting of 1.06 hectares, 23 km from Carcassonne and its medieval city.

    Description

The village of this royal factory dates back to medieval times around 828. It went through a troubled period during the war of religion from 1563 to 1595 between the Huguenots and the royal troops. This royal factory at the foot of the Montagne Noire borders on the Tarn. Located on the outskirts of a medieval village, this 17th century residence was built under Colbert. The house was remodelled in the 19th century and recently renovated.
