This 12th-century castle, remodelled in the 17th century, is a quadrilateral structure with an inner courtyard and chapel. It was built in the 1100s.
The 12th century castle
A moat once protected the enclosure. It is flanked on the south side by 2 square towers and on the north side by 2 round towers. This 12th-century medieval castle was remodelled in the 17th century while retaining its medieval style. The interior of the château has been restored to the comfort of 17th-century homes. The château level by level
An inner courtyard leads to the ground floor rooms. A barrel-vaulted chapel. Several spacious vaulted rooms on the ground floor, including a renovated kitchen. An indoor swimming pool has been installed in one of the rooms. A grand staircase with arcades dating from the 17th century leads to the first floor.
