This part of the Lot, known as the Bouriane, was a historical crossroads during the Hundred Years' War and the repression of the Cathars. The 16th-century castle.

Pech-Fumat castle was built in the 16th century around 1560 by a family of knights and lawyers from the Aveyron region. The castle suffered some damage during the 1789 revolution. The roof of the castle, originally made of lauzes, was changed to flat tiles. In the 18th century, the castle was enlarged to suit the tastes of the time. The castle has been occupied by the same family since its origins. It has a three-storey, rectangular floor plan with hipped roofs, surrounding walls and a terraced garden offering panoramic views.
This 16th century castle steeped in history in a dominant position comprises: the castle with a reception room with French ceiling opening on to a terraced garden and monumental fireplace, a dining room, a library, a kitchen, 2 offices and 10 bedrooms on two levels. A full basement with vaulted cellars. 5 outbuildings. Major restoration works are planned.
This includes the entire roof, electricity and heating.

A third bedroom of about 25 m2. 4 other bedrooms of around 17 m2 and 25 m2 respectively, with shower point and parquet flooring. A study of approx. 40 m2 with parquet flooring and exposed stone. The top floor is an unfinished attic of approx. 150 m2.
